GERMAN LUTHER DAY
(10th Nov 1933)

This postcard was issued to commemorate the life of Martin Luther, a German Augustine monk and professor of theology, responsible for the Reformation. Luther was born on 10th Nov 1483 and died on 18th Feb 1546.

There are at least three versions of this card:

1. Black and sepia
2. Black and white
3. With red text

The domestically used example below was posted in WITTENBERG on 18th Mar 1933 and was destined for MÜNSTER.
