BACKGROUND: The following postcard was published to commemorate the Day of German Family Music held in 1933. There are several versions of this card as follows:

Type 1: Inscribed "Zum Tag der deutschen | hausmusik" with pre-printed 3 Rpf Hindenburg medallion stamp.
Type 2: Inscribed "Zum Tag der deutschen | hausmusik" without a pre-printed stamp.
Type 3: Inscribed "Zum Tag der deutschen | hausmusik" with pre-printed 3 Rpf Hindenburg medallion stamp and additional diagonal "Raum für Einladungstext" text.
