"SOLDIER'S SHEETS FOR CELEBRATIONS AND LEISURE"

In April 1940 a series of booklets titled "Soldatenblätter für feier und Freizeit" - "Soldier's sheets for celebrations and leisure" was published by the OKW (OberKommando der Wehrmacht), or Armed Forces High Command. The booklets were printed every month from Apr 1940 until Nov/Dec 1944.

1942 - Oct Issue Postcards

The tenth issue of the 1942 series of the magazine featured four postcards attached to the rear cover of the booklet. Postcard 1 features "Sowjet Idyll" Life inside a Soviet farmer's house (without pigs), Postcard 2 features "Sowjet Idyll" Life inside a Soviet farmer's house with pigs, Postcard 3 has the text "Wellenbad" with a submarine surfacing, and Postcard 4 features a village scene celebrating the harvest. There was an identical card in Sep 1942.
