The following set of artist's postcards is Series 4 in the "Wehrmachts Bildserie", Wehrmachts Postcard Series, published by Carl Werner Verlag of Reichenbach. The title of the series, and the card number, are located on the top left-hand side of the card. The botton left-hand side has the inscription "Mit Genehmigung des Oberkommandos der Wehrmacht" - 'With the approval of the Wehrmacht High Command'.

The example below left is a feldpost card posted on 1st Sep 1941 and was destined for an address in BERLIN. Below centre is another postally used example, this one cancelled on 16th May 1940 in the port city of KIEL.
