Francotype B versions have a date format where the day, month, and year values are separated by periods or decimal points. In addition the distance between the centre of the CDS and the centre of the value stamp frame is 74 -75 mm.
The Francotype 'B' meter stamps occur both with and without a 4 digit counter number. This number when present is either at the top (Type Bh - hoch or high) or in the centre (Type Bm - Mitte or middle), between the CDS and the value stamp frame and the numbers typically measure 6 or 7mm high..
The Type 47 is differentiated by the font of the value stamp where the 000's use the standard font
