BACKGROUND: This type of stamp was used from 1936 onwards and consists of a rectangular frame with a Reichs Adler with outstretched wings above the rectangle containing the stamp value and the texts "Deutsche | Reischspost" (lower case texts) below the frame. Not to be confused with E-8 which has upper case lettering.
The format for the No. 109 is "000" with type CG value texts.
