Issued 1898. Plate printing with a changed imprint, now only control numbers, without letters (1098-1099). The control data is only found on the question part. P38I with a gap in the 4th dotted line of the address, otherwise without a gap. No watermark. The example below is a P38II.

Valid print date: (1298-599). New value 10Pf. Print date now with no checkpoints. There are two different types of 'Pf' Under "Post-Anweisung". Type I has a larger 'P' in "Pf" (3 x 2 mm) and with Type 'II' the 'P' of the "Pf" is smaller (2.5 x 1.75 mm).

The same design as A10 but now with a value of 20Pf. Print date now with no checkpoints. There are two different types of 'Pf' Under "Post-Anweisung". Type I has a larger 'P' in "Pf" (3 x 2 mm) and with Type 'II' the 'P' of the "Pf" is smaller (2.5 x 1.75 mm).
