The First Hindenburg 'Get to Know Germany' series appeared in early 1933 and are collectively refered to as P221. This series comprises a total of 78 different cards, 69 of them have the heading 'Lernt Deutschland Kennen!' and the remaining 9 have either 'Besucht das Grenzland' (1 example), 'Besucht das schöne Schlesien' (5 examples) or 'Pruβische Staatsbader' (3 examples). Cards of the first Hindenburg series are easily identified by the elongated tail on the 'e' of 'Postkarte'. Later issues do not have such an elongated 'e'.
